Abstract

At the request of José Manuel, Agustín Domingo, and Louisde Arechaga, Don Juan Alonso Guerra y Sandoval, the Principal King of Arms of Spain, prepared this history of the nobility of the Arechaga family and its branches, including Mendieta, Aguirre, Vergara, and Asteyza. The family is Basque and the history of the ancestors involves events in that region.

Abstract This document is Miguel Bravo de Acuna's extensive will. It contains 75 bequests or requests regarding the distribution of his wealth including: 1) a bequest of 100 pesos to the Redemptionists to be used for the ransoming of an impoverished noble held by the Moors, or barring that, anyone named Miguel so held; 2) various sums to the cities of Valladolid, Spain, and Lima, Peru, for the clothing and housing of impoverished noble men and women; and 3) 1000 pesos to the Franciscan convent...
